How to Get Perfectly Rebonding Hair at Home

Every other woman has a specific hair texture. Several have straight hair naturally so they don’t need to do any treatment for straightening but others who have naturally frizzy, and slightly waved hair may have to go for any procedure to get straight hair.

Rebonding is such a process in which your hair remains straight for a couple of days after getting the treatment. You can go to salons for rebonding but you may also do this at your home with your own convenience if you follow these 6 pro tips mentioned below:

Washing Your Hair

For getting the treatment of rebonding at home. The first step you should do is to wash your hair properly with any gentle shampoo. You must wash your hair with cold water as warm water results in the destruction of hair. Warm water also damages the hair follicles. After washing your hair, dry them nicely or blow dry them. But the setting of the blow dryer should be set medium. Do not overheat your hair by setting hot air..

Division Of Hair

After your hair gets completely dry, start the division of hair into equal sections. For convenience, you can use hair pins to pin them. That’s how your process will be done easily without any interruption and mixing of hair.

Select a hair Dope and Apply It

One of the most basic and important steps in rebounding is to select a dope for your hair. That dope must be appropriate for your hair and doesn’t give you any bad result. If your hair texture is dry, you should select a hydrating and nutritious dope and if your hair is oily you should go for an oil-free dope. But you have to do complete research before choosing any dope for your hair. Because they can ruin your hair if you make any bad decision.

After selection, read all the measures precautions written on the packet, wear gloves and start applying it on your hair. Apply it properly on the curls and do the coating of cream on it. Then wait for at least 30 minutes and keep on checking the knots with cream as the rebonding cream involves chemicals.

Steaming Your Hair

The next step includes steaming your hair. The steaming process is done by the streamer which takes about 15-20 minutes but not most of the people have streamers at their home. So they can use a towel for this purpose. Soak a towel in warmish water and then remove the surplus water from it. Wrap the towel around the hair in a way all your hair is covered up by the towel. Now abandon this for some time.

Cleanse The Dope

After a while, wash your hair with cold water. Wash them properly so that the dope in your hair sets off from your hair nicely. Use shampoo for removing the dope and after that use the conditioner. You may use them according to your hair's nature. After cleansing, blow dry them on medium heat.

Apply Keratin Lotion and Iron

Our hair needs keratin as it gives proteins to our hair. So apply a keratin lotion in your hair decently and after applying it you don’t need to remove it as you removed the dope. Keratin is beneficial for hair so leave it as it is.

Now, the final step is to straighten your hair with flat iron or straightener. Divide your hair again into equal sections, set a medium temperature for the straightener and then straighten your hair. Ironing your hair will remove the remaining curls from your hair.
